The Brooklyn, New York

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with a nice set-up, but the noise from neighboring guests kept me up all night. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable. The location was a bit challenging due to noise from trucks and the neighborhood not being the best. Dining options were limited, and the facilities were average.

The hotel is tucked away in the heart of Brooklyn, not too far from transportation hubs, major shopping areas, and the famed Barclays Center. The rooms on the backside, though still spacious, had a skylight view but reeked of cigarette smoke, which was a challenge for someone allergic like me. The service, from checking in to out, was exceptional, even though there was a minor hiccup with our reservation that was quickly resolved. The dining offered a nice variety of food, including fresh cut-up fruit and pancakes, while the facilities met my expectations.

The hotel has beautiful, clean rooms in a great location, but lacks soundproofing and had some disrepair issues. The service was questionable at times, with maintenance staff doubling as service personnel. The location, although a bit rough and with some homeless presence, offered easy access to the subway and downtown Manhattan. The dining experience was basic, lacking variety and hot milk options.
